Learn more about the artist behind the yarn!
My name is Selah Martin and I'm a small batch indie dyer in the Pacific Northwest. I spent most of my childhood in the midwest, spent my 20s living in Australia where my parents and siblings still live today, and have made Washington home since 2010. I have a love of all things cryptid, myths and legends, and have been knitting since I was a child. I wanted to marry my two interests and now you have Bigfoot Yarns! Before I began my adventures in fiber art, I worked as an Emergency Department Technician/phlebotomist and have worked in ER's across the world since 2001. I still work a few shifts in my local ER when I'm not elbow deep in the dyepots. I was also an EMT while living in Australia.
When I am not working on my yarn, you can usually find me hiking in the Olympics with my dog Mishka or just hanging out with my awesome husband Jake.
